Here are our results from Yesterday’s MARC Small College Playoff Tournament…

The Widener Men took the forbidden path to claim Second Place and nearly guaranteed our team a trip to compete in Washington DC at Nationals 👏

After winning the first two pool play games, we fell short against a great Howard University team that had our number all day…as the 2 seed in our pool we went on to play Susquehanna in the Semifinals.

With the season on the line, we dethroned Susquehanna and got a trip to chip to earn 2nd place 🥈

An unbelievable day for Widener Rugby! And I can happily say that this season is not over yet ✈️

The stage is set.

As we enter the Small College Championship this Saturday at Franklin & Marshall University, Widener looks to punch their ticket to Nationals down in DC.

Top 2-3 teams in the tournament will possibly get a bid to play in Nationals.

Results from Last Saturday…

Widener Rugby completed the ultimate gauntlet at PSU Berks after two teams failed to show. After facing all 5 teams in attendance, the men finished the tournament undefeated. With this 1st place finish, the boys are seeded as the 2nd Seed heading into this weekend’s playoff tournament for a shot to compete at CRC’s (Nationals) in Washington D.C. 📍

This team is on 🔥 as we remain hungry going into this weekend.
