22 years ago today I tore every ligament in my knee in my first scrimmage of my senior year. The surgeon said it looked like a gr***de went off in my knee and id never play another pivot sport again. Previous to that injury I thought I had it all planned out.. play college ball then go into the military as I had wanted to do since childhood.. both of those plans were ruined on that one play. I eventually became fascinated with how the body recovers and can adapt growing stronger. That one door closing led me to a career as a personal trainer! I absolutely love the opportunity to help others live a better quality of life. Things work out the way they should when you don’t let’s yesterday’s disappointment overshadow tomorrows dream

There’s never a “good time” if that’s the mindset you have. Unfortunately I see this play out time and time again.

-kids have too much going on
