Leroy Springs Golf is proud to recognize Head Golf Professional Rohan Allwood as he competes in the Senior PGA Championship this week.

Round 1 will begin tomorrow (Thursday) at 9:31am off the 10th hole, followed by Round 2 on Friday at 2:36pm off the 1st hole.

Due to upcoming low temperatures, Chester Golf Club will close after the last tee time at noon on Sunday, December 14. We will be monitoring temperatures and expect to reopen on Tuesday if the weather permits.

We're delighted to introduce Phill Rutherford as Chester Golf Club's new Assistant Professional!

Originally from the United Kingdom, Phill brings a lifelong passion for the game of golf and a strong background to our team. He's played golf since the age of nine and has competed professionally, most recently on the Carolina Mountain Tour earlier this year. Before joining Chester Golf Club, he further developed his skills while caddying at the Charlotte Country Club. A big sports fan, he enjoys following European football and the NFL - the Buffalo Bills are at the top of his list!

In addition to supporting daily operations, Phill is available for golf lessons and is passionate about helping players of all levels improve their game. Email [email protected] to learn more information and book your lesson.

We’d like to congratulate Rohan Allwood, Head Golf Professional at Chester Golf Club, for his achievements at the Senior PGA Professional Championship in Port St. Lucie, Florida this past week.

The Championship featured a 264-player field representing all 41 PGA sections, hosted at the Wannamaker and Dye courses. Rohan shot 69-69-73-74 for a four-round total of 285, good for a sixth-place finish! Even amidst windy conditions all week, he shared the 36-hole lead and played great golf.

With his high finish, Rohan qualified for the 2026 Senior PGA Championship, set for April 16-19 at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida. Please congratulate him on this incredible achievement next time you see him at Chester Golf Club!
