Congratulations to Grassfield Head Coach on being named the NWCA USMC “Battles Won” Coach of the Year!

This marks Coach Shuler’s second year in a row receiving the honor, making him the only coach in Virginia history to be named NWCA Coach of the Year in back-to-back years. He is also the only active two-time recipient of the award. This recognition comes on the heels of yesterday’s announcement that Grassfield’s assistant coaching staff received the same honor.

Grassfield Wrestling celebrated an epic season on Monday for their end of season Awards Banquet. So much to be grateful for - the best community, school, parents, boosters, student-athletes, and coaches. Everyone is all in on the standard and no one is above the PROGRAM!
