A few months ago, after a particularly stressful few weeks, Nick and I met up with a couple of friends. As we talked with them about all that was going on, one of them gave me a piece of advice that has stuck with me ever since:

“Guard your yeses.”

She explained that every time we say yes to something, we’re saying no to something else.

As simple as it sounds, I had never really thought about it that way.

A yes to one more commitment might be a no to an evening with my family.

A yes to another project might be a no to rest.

A yes to serving somewhere new might be a no to serving well where God has already placed me.

🚨 Committed Club — May 2026 🚨

Another month in the books, and another group of people proving that consistency is the real secret to success. 👏🔥

May is one of the busiest months of the year. End-of-school events, sports, graduations, work, family commitments, and calendars packed from morning to night. Yet our Committed Club members continued to make their health a priority and showed up when it would have been easy not to.

Because results aren’t built in one great workout. They’re built in the decision to keep showing up.

Avery, this is incredibly well deserved. Your dedication, hard work, and commitment to showing up have not gone unnoticed (especially being home on summer break from college!). You continue to put in the effort, embrace the challenge, and lead by example through your consistency.

🔥 June Member of the Month: Lindsey Agin! 🔥

If you’ve been around CFC for any length of time, chances are you’ve crossed paths with Lindsey. Whether she’s making one of the morning classes, squeezing in a noon workout, or showing up after a long day, one thing is always the same: she shows up and puts in the work.

For a little over a year, Lindsey has been a consistent face in our community. She attacks every workout with effort, stays coachable, and brings a positive energy that makes everyone around her better. And of course, she delivers that encouragement with just the right amount of sarcasm—which has become one of our favorite things about her. 😆

Lindsey is hardworking, supportive, humble, and always willing to cheer others on. She leads by example and reminds us that real progress comes from showing up day after day, even when life gets busy.

We are incredibly grateful to have you as part of the CFC family, Lindsey. Thank you for your consistency, your work ethic, and for helping make our community what it is.

🔥 May Challenge Champion: Jose Hernandez 🔥

335 strict pull-ups.

Let that sink in for a second.

Our May challenge was simple on paper: accumulate as many strict pull-ups as possible throughout the month. But anyone who has spent time on a pull-up bar knows there is nothing simple about strict pull-ups. They demand strength, consistency, discipline, and a willingness to keep showing up day after day.

This month, Jose Hernandez did exactly that, finishing with an incredible 335 strict pull-ups and earning the title of our May Challenge Champion! 💪

What makes this accomplishment special isn’t just the number. It’s the commitment behind it. Nobody accidentally completes 335 strict pull-ups. That’s the result of making a choice over and over again to put in the work, even when nobody is watching.

Congratulations, Jose! Thank you for setting the standard, embracing the challenge, and inspiring everyone around you to get a little better each day.

🔥 JUNE CHALLENGE IS HERE 🔥

5:00 on the clock. One movement. You vs. your mind.

How many wall walks can you complete in 5 minutes? 👀

This month’s challenge is simple… but don’t confuse simple with easy.

Wall walks test:
▪️ shoulder endurance
▪️ core strength
▪️ body awareness
▪️ stamina under fatigue
▪️ mental grit

They expose weaknesses fast — and that’s exactly why we train them.

Wall walks teach you how to stay controlled when your heart rate spikes. They build strength through the shoulders and midline that carries over into handstands, gymnastics, overhead lifts, and overall athletic durability.

But more than anything? They teach you how to keep moving when things get uncomfortable.

Because somewhere around minute 3… your shoulders are on fire, your breathing gets heavy, and your brain starts negotiating with you.

That’s where growth happens. 🔥

Whether you’re chasing the leaderboard or just trying to beat the version of yourself from yesterday, this challenge is for YOU.
