Kellis Dance Explosion

Kellis Dance Explosion Established in 1999, KDX is a family-oriented, multi-genre dance studio located in the Chesapeake/Portsmouth area of Hampton Roads Virginia.

We offer year round training/membership for all dancers. We start with our KDX KIDS (Ages 3-5) and we have quite a few options for dancers ages 6 and up. Our Elite Dance Program consists of some of the most talented and dedicated dancers from Ages 9-18.

🎓 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 🎓

Our next graduating senior is Olivia Mitchell, who has been with KDX for 8 wonderful years, with this being her 5th year on the KDX Elite Team. Her favorite genre is ballet and she will be attending Goucher College with a double major in Dance and Engineering Science (with a focus in Physics).

"I am so grateful for everyone who helped make it possible for little me to actually become the ballerina I’ve always dreamt of being!" (True prodigy)🩰

Olivia will greatly be missed as her love of dance is something that cannot be taught and is fully wholehearted 💞 KDX will always be a second home and we cannot wait to see where her future takes her.
