He is calm under pressure and always ready for the big moment. When everything that can go wrong in a 9u baseball game does.. starting pitching falls apart, mental breakdowns, errors, bad luck, close calls don’t go your way and the other team takes advantage by making you pay with timely hitting… the end result usually isn’t good. Today we gave a good team a 16-0 head start in a championship game. However, the SBA VA Futures 9u never quit, trusted each other, trusted their coaches and put together an improbable comeback by scoring 24 unanswered runs and earning the 🚢!! Their patience, discipline and skill was amazing!!

The SBA VA 9u boys officially knocked off the rust by earning the number 1 seed in pool play with 2 shutouts. Both pitchers threw a no hitter. They came up short by 2 runs in the championship, but the boys earned some more hardware their first tournament of the fall 9u season.
