We are super excited to once again have the opportunity to put our customers on a trophy striped bass during the spring run. We will offer trophy striped bass catch and release trips in April, jigging and/or trolling. The catch and keep season will begin May 1 and anglers will be allowed (1) fish per person, 19-24”.

We head back to Ocean City, MD the 2nd week of June and remain seaside until the 1st week of October.

Wound Tight is available for the Battle for the Buckle Tournament June 25-28. Below is a snippet of the rules section. 1.Basic entry fees only $500.00 per team per day before May 1, 2026, and $750.00 thereafter.
2.Tournament dates will be June 25th through June 28 (1of 3-day format)
3.Team(s) can fish more than one day, provided they pay additional registration fees and additional Calcutta’s fees to fish.
4.Team(s) will consist of up to 6 anglers, captain and mate.

We are returning to Harrisburg, PA for the 2026 GAOS. Stop by and say hello. We will again offer a show special on reservations booked throughout the week. We will also have Wound Tight T-shirts, in (2) color choices as well as woman’s sizes. Looking forward to seeing everyone this season!

We wrapped up our 2025 Catch and Keep Striped Bass season on 12/9 with the gang. It was cold, we made some ice and the fish made us wait a few hours before they thawed out and decided to eat. Now the search begins for migratory striped bass on light tackle. Crossing our fingers we see the same amount of XL bass as last December, only one way to find out! We have spots open this Saturday.

Had a fun friends and family day yesterday on a pretty Sunday. While the 2025 C&Keep season wraps up in a few days, we are looking forward to the shot at catching some PBSB’s over the next few weeks. Weekend dates available through December for Chesapeake Bay Light Tackle Trophy Striped Bass C&R.
