So long, sweet summer!

What a great summer it was! A huge thank you to our members for trusting us with your summer weekends, evenings, and day swims. Your days off, holidays and just- because-life-is-better at the pool days. We loved having your families here - hearing their laughs and giggles, watching them cannon ball off the diving board and enjoy ice cream sundaes by the old snack bar. Here’s to another great summer! While we are sad to say goodbye, we know it’s really more like “see ya next summer!”

And to our board president - David Baumgarten, our board members, committee members, volunteers, lifeguards and every single person who lent a hand this summer - Thank you so much!!!

We hope everyone has an amazing school year - see ya in June!

💙 Labor Day Weekend at Willowdale 💙

We know this isn’t the ending to the summer that any of us had hoped for BUT even though we can’t swim, we can still gather as a community and make the most of one last weekend at Willowdale! We have plenty of activities planned:

• Movie Night

• Pancake Cart by Savory Sweets
• Family Bingo
• Scavenger hunt

🍿 PLUS, ALL WEEKEND
• Discounted snacks and treats
• Our Teacher Shop—bring your donations, and Willowdale teachers are invited to come shop!

🧹We’ll also be preparing the club for the off-season and would be grateful for some helping hands. Members are invited to pitch in as we clean and put away chairs, tables, umbrellas and other items for the winter. Even a little help will make a big difference!

Let’s come together and enjoy one last weekend as a community and give Summer 2026 a proper Willowdale send-off! See you there!🐬💙

The pool will be closed for the remainder of the day due to a discovery of a broken light and glass in the pool. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

💙Willowdale Cardboard Boat Regatta 💙

Join us all weekend for one last weekend of friends, family and an all around great time at the pool!

On Sunday Sept 6th, don’t miss our cardboard regatta!

🛶All boats must be made out of cardboard and duct tape
🚣🏻 You can use oars or paddles but they also must be made of cardboard and/or duct tape
🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Everyone must stay in the boat!

We can’t wait to see what you build!!!
