We have tube and raft trips designed for everyone of every age. A great experience to see the Smokies from a unique point of view. Always cool and refreshing during the summer heat, a relaxing float down the Oconoluftee River is a welcome departure from the crowds of the reservation's busy summer months. A Cherokee favorite for over 15 years! The Oconoluftee is a lazy river average depths of 1 - 2 feet, so even if swimming is not your strong point, the river is very accommodating. Sit back and enjoy the trip through the laurels and rhododendrons as the sun breaks through the canopy. The river will leave you with a wonderful exposure to nature like no other. Smoky Mountain Tube and Raft is located across from the Cherokee Fun Park on Acquoni Road. We are open 7 days a week from Memorail Day to Labor Day from 10 AM to 5 PM non-stop.
