As always boys and girls, it’s another dang good day to be a Blazer. Our National teams took on the Coastline Classic this weekend in Myrtle Beach and brought home some great finishes. Our 16 Black squad brought home 2nd overall after a hard fought 3 set championship match and our 14 Black group finished 3rd overall after losing a tough 3 set match in the semifinals. Next stop……Orlando for Nationals to close out our season.

And with this morning’s practice, our developmental season has come to an end. I had an awesome time coaching our developmental group this season. These girls always showed up ready to work and have a good time. They all improved so much this season and I’m so proud of the growth they showed. Thank you to all of the parents for allowing me to coach your kids. Also thank you to all of the coaches that covered for me at times this season when I couldn’t be there. You will never know how much that means to me. One last thank you to Coach Riley. Thank you for being my assistant all year and always showing up……even if you were late to the last practice 😂. Can’t wait to see what all these girls accomplish in the game of volleyball.

You know the drill…..It’s another dang good day to be a Blazer. Last year our 15 Black squad won Take the Lake in Mooresville, NC. We felt like we needed to go defend that title so Coach Calin put together a group to go defend it. And they did just that. These 7 girls, 4 of whom played 2 softball games this week and practiced every other night, who had only 3 practices together, who had no subs in a boiling hot gym, left it all on the court and went 5-0 and took the whole dang lake. Awesome job this weekend ladies. We are so proud of yall.
