Moree's Cheraw Country Club Our golf course was originally designed by Donald Ross in 1924. We are open year round to the public Golf Course, Swimming Pool, and Lodging.

Dear Valued Members and Citizens,


Cheraw Country Club was established in 1924 with a beautiful and challenging course designed by legendary golf course architect, Donald Ross. This year marks the 100th anniversary of its existence in Cheraw, SC. Henry Moree was born in Cheraw and with his close ties to the community, he purchased the club in 2009, rebranding it Moree’s Cheraw Country Club. His 15 years of ownership have been fun and rewarding but, due to intense competition with the Cheraw State Park, keeping Moree’s Cheraw Country Club course is no longer a profitable venture. Unfortunately, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of MCCC. As of today, we are not sure what the future will hold for the course. We are soliciting investors for other possible uses for the area.

Current memberships will be refunded as of February 11, 2024.

Moree's Cheraw Country Club will be running a Winter Special from now until the end of February 2022.

For $20 you can play all day on Tuesday-Friday.

This DOES include your Cart Fee, but there will be no rain checks or refunds for the Winter Special.
