Spokane Adventures

A peaceful slow stroll down the black horse trail.

This young bull crossed back and forth on the trail. Stopping occasionally for a bite to eat.

I was lucky enough to have him join me on my walk.
He walked beside me the entire trail.

I was also using my Nikkon snapping photos. I’ll post later. Received a new lens for the Nikkon today.

Can’t wait to put it to use.

Turnbull Wildlife Refuge

What an adventure!
Yesterday morning was just amazing.

Drove in and one bull moose in the road with lots of photographers pulled over.

The moose was beginning to walk away from the crowd as I pulled into the park.

While most people put their cameras away and moved on.

I was getting excited! Recently, I had shared Turnbull tips on Spokane adventures page.

Here’s one more secret to my many amazing encounters. Once you get good at spotting moose.
Next learn the land.

While everyone drove away. I headed to exactly where this moose was going. I and the moose, walked calmly from black horse lake dock. Down the black horse lake trail all the way to the pavilion near the entrance.

For Just over half a mile. This beautiful beast allowed me to slowly walk beside him. With no other photographers in sight!

It’s speacial moments like these that keep me craving adventures!

Get out and go Adventure everybody 😊

Today’s adventure = a quick drive out to the auto loop.

2nd time around the loop found mom and her little one. Enjoying some shade on a hot sunny day.
