Course update 8/24/26: The recent rains (would love to have some more) have helped the course tremendously and have allowed us to go back to our normal 90 degree cart rule. Thank you for understanding that heat/drought/cart traffic don’t jive. ✌️

“Fall” Greens Aeration 2026…that’s a wrap! Thanks to the tireless efforts of the maintenance team for putting in long hours on a couple extremely warm days.

Due to the continued heat and drought we have made the difficult decision to go to CART PATH ONLY beginning Monday, August 10, 2026. This will be in place until we receive adequate rainfall and cooler temperatures. We ask that all golfers please follow this decision. Thank you.

6/27/26…and on the seventh day it rained, AGAIN, but only .20”, seven straight days of rain. We are OPEN today! All 18 holes will be path only. Driving range will be closed. ✌️

Another 3.40” overnight (just under 11 last 8 days). The course and range will be closed yet again, however, junior golf will go on as planned on the practice green. It’s definitely time for sunshine and a breeze, let’s dry out a bit for goodness sake’s!

The 26th annual Friends of Cherry Oaks Benefit Golf Tournament scheduled for Sunday, June 28, is still on as planned! We have a couple spots left to fill, 316-540-0133.

Congratulations to the few that played some holes first thing this morning, the rest of you, well Mother Nature says “No golf for you!” The course and the range are closed once again for the remainder of the day, 6/25/26. Let’s hope it doesn’t get too bad this evening. 😑 ☔️🌧️🤦‍♂️
