One of the most powerful moments of the 2025 Chelsea Road Race happened just seconds before the starting horn.
Standing in front of 500 runners, walkers, volunteers, and community members, City Manager Fidel Maltez raised his voice and led the crowd in a chant that echoed throughout Arlington Street:
โChelsea PaโLante / Onward!โ
And hundreds of voices responded:
โChelsea Pa'Lante / Onward!โ
It was more than a race-day cheer.
It was a reflection of who we are as a city.
A city that keeps moving forward.
