Shelby Steel 12U – Lackey is extremely proud to announce that Aubrey Mendoza and Kaylee Harris have officially punched their tickets to represent TEAM ALABAMA at the USSSA National All State Championship in Space Coast, Florida! 🌴🇺🇸

These are two SPECIAL talents, but what makes them even more special goes far beyond their abilities between the lines.

Both young ladies are leaders in their own way. They bring different personalities, different strengths, and different styles of leadership to our dugout, but they share something that matters more than anything the work ethic, toughness, attitude, and commitment to excellence that define Shelby Steel Softball.

They don’t just wear STEEL across their chest. They REPRESENT what it stands for.

They are the definition of BUILT BY STEEL and living examples of THE STEEL STANDARD! 💪🥎

We have absolutely no doubt that when these two step onto the dirt in Florida, they’re going to SHOW UP AND SHOW OUT! They’ll represent Team Alabama, their families, their teammates, and the entire Shelby Steel organization with pride!

BIG DAWG SHOUTOUT! 🔥

Join us in congratulating one of our very own Shelby Steel 12U – Lackey players, STELLA COATS, on earning her spot on the 2027 Chelsea Middle School Softball Team! 🥎💙

Stella is the definition of what we strive to build here at Shelby Steel. A leader on and off the field, an incredible teammate, and a young lady whose work ethic speaks louder than words. She shows up, puts in the work, leads by example, and never backs down from an opportunity to get better.

Talent may open doors, but WORK ETHIC is what keeps them opening! 🦾

And if there’s one thing we’re confident about, it’s that Chelsea Middle School is just the beginning. We have a feeling the list of schools Stella will represent on the diamond is going to keep growing over the years. 👀

The next chapter is written in blue, but we wouldn’t be surprised if one day it’s written on a much bigger stage! 🐘

The Shelby Steel Premier 2034 – Lackey squad is headed across state lines this Saturday for the USFA Double Jeopardy Tournament in LaGrange, GA!

The Big Dawgs are ready to lace ’em up and go to work as we take on some tough competition from Alabama and Georgia! Three pool games, one mission — compete at the highest level and bring that Steel Standard every time we step between the lines! 💪🥎

Our Shelby Steel 12U Georgia vs. Alabama Football Fundraiser is officially SOLD OUT, and we couldn’t be more thankful for everyone who stepped up to support our girls! 🥎🩶🖤

What started as a fun way to raise money for upcoming tournaments and team expenses turned into another awesome example of the community showing up for these young athletes!

The girls have drawn the numbers, the board is officially set, and now it’s time to see who walks away with some CASH! 💵

🥎 Shelby Steel Premier 2034 - Lackey went undefeated and brought home the Gold Bracket Championship at USA Softball’s Maggie’s Rules Tournament!

🥎 Shelby Steel Premier 2036 - Reimers went undefeated and brought home the Gold Bracket Championship at the USSSA Wetumpka Showdown!

Different cities. Different tournaments. Same result.

Days like today are special because they show what this organization continues to build. These girls compete. They play for each other. They represent the name on the front of their jerseys the right way, and when the pressure gets turned up, they embrace it.

This weekend, Shelby Steel 2034 - Lackey is back between the lines, but this one is about more than softball. 💚

We’re proud to take the field in the Maggie’s Rules Tournament, supporting Maggie’s Kindness Foundation and a message every one of our girls can carry far beyond this game:

Our Shelby Steel 8U Premier 2036 - Reimers girls are headed to Fultondale this Saturday for the USSSA Alabama Firecracker Invitational, and the DAWGS are ready to be LET LOOSE!

Four games. One day. A LOADED field featuring some of the best competition from across the Southeast. This is EXACTLY the kind of stage these girls have been working for!

This group isn't interested in taking the easy road. They want the competition, they embrace the pressure, and they're learning that being ELITE isn't something you talk about. It's something you prove between the lines!
