So proud of our own Ryan Steele O’Connor! ✨

Ryan is performing at Jacob’s Pillow as part of Youth America Grand Prix: Fresh Voices in Dance, a program highlighting the next generation of choreographic talent in ballet.

Ryan is representing Alberta Ballet School in Tipping Point, choreographed by Davidson Farias. His training journey also includes years of tutelage under Wes Chapman and Shawn Black at the Alabama School of Fine Arts, and we’re so proud to see that foundation continue carrying him into opportunities like this.

Fresh Voices in Dance runs October 16–18 at Jacob’s Pillow, and a livestream is available for anyone who wants to watch from home.

Studio Company classes: hours of focused, detail-driven work on each dancer's variation. 🩰✨

These dancers are putting in the work, refining every arm placement, every turnout, every musical nuance, with our faculty right there beside them. This is what close, hands-on coaching looks like: not just correcting steps, but helping each dancer find the artistry inside the technique. 🤍

We're so proud of the growth happening in this room every single day. Can't wait to see these variations come to life on stage at competitions this season! 💕

Fall Break is almost here! 🍂 Studio closed Monday, Oct 12 & Tuesday, Oct 13 for Shelby County Schools' Fall Break, classes resume Wednesday, Oct 14.

Due to the hurricane and out of an abundance of caution, we have two changes for this Saturday, October 10th:

🩰 Twinkle Toes Ballet & Tap (9:00-9:45 AM) is cancelled. Class will resume next week as scheduled!

🎀 Our Piper Bonner Pop-Up Class is postponed. We'll share the new date.

We always put safety first, and we can't wait to see all our dancers back in the studio soon 💕

Piper Bonner is back at Mt Laurel Ballet for a special one-day pop-up! 🩰✨

Join Piper on October 10 from 9:30–11:00 AM for the chance to train with an alum, Legacy Winner, and Magic City Nutcracker’s very own Clara.

Class is $15. Venmo to reserve your spot.

Our Monday Mat Pilates class is varied ages and levels, and in full swing! Whether your dancer trains with us or elsewhere, this class is open and available to every dancer who wants to get stronger.

Taught by Emily Tincher, a former professional ballerina and now Pilates instructor, this class is built with dancer bodies in mind. Cross training isn't a "nice to have," it's a real piece of building strong, resilient dancers. Stronger cores, better alignment, smarter bodies on stage✨
