Just a reminder to everyone, I am happily retired! I might entertain simple repairs in the future, but I am going to have some fun before my first surgery the is now scheduled for November 5th. Clam digging and some fishing! And fall garden harvest! So excited!

Hey folks! It has been an awesome ride of learning and conquering many challenges as a self-taught fishing rod builder! My husband and I started the company as a hobby in 2010, and I turned it into a business, becoming sole proprietary in 2013. My husband passed away on 2/4/21, which left me with more challenges. But I faced them all. But now I have 3 pending surgeries, and my mother is living with me on hospice.

I have had many inquiries about rod orders and requests. But at this time, I am officially announcing my retirement. I look forward to whatever is thrown my way and exploring the world in the future!

Thank you to all my customers over the years! I have made so many friends that I will never forget!

It has been a journey, but there is another one around the corner!!!

Black Friday/Saturday sale will be Thansgiving Weekend!!! I am taking Sunday off, because I know you guys are going to kill me! Lol! Custom orders will be limited to stock on hand! First come, first served!
There will be rod building supplies available. $10.00 non warranty blanks, reelseets, misc cork and guides. Cash preferred, but will be able to accept Venmo or PayPal. I look forward to seeing everyone!

When a friend gets hurt, people come together to help!! It was a hell of a lot of work, but a hell of a lot of fun. We made apple cider, dried and packed carrots, cooked up beats, made radish , carrot and beet chips all pkgd, frozen and ready to go to their home. My girlfriend had a slight miss step last Wednesday in my driveway. Her 5 week old new knee kind of blew open. She was an airlift to the north for emergency surgery. She was here to harvest food for her family. Unfortunately she is still in the hospital. I just thought that I would share people coming together for stangers!

Wow! So much has gone on in my life over the last few years! My husband's diagnose to his death! I have always been a survivor but learning to survive on my own has been a challenge! Second time being a widow, takes its toll! Plus, the legal hell!!!
Well, my journey is leading into another path of life.

AKA: I am officially retiring from the fishing rod building family! I will always be a part of the family, but only as a fisherwoman! I have not decided yet if I want to do simple repairs, but I have 2 surgeries coming up that will take time for recovery.

I will no longer except custom orders after 12/15/24. Doors will be closed 12/31/24

There will be a rod builder sale (date to be announced)

And then there will be a general sale (date to be announced)

We are working officially on Tuesday and Thursday. I am available most every day but Wednesday!

This decision did not come lightly! but it has been on my mind for the last year! I love all my clients and the friends that I have made! I will miss you all!
