Burt Lake Cheboygan county Ice fishing is now underway. We have a Good 7-9 inches of blue Ice on most of the lake try to avoid rivers and inlets as the ice thickness may vary. The Walleye Bite is Good, Tip-ups seem to be producing most of the Fish with a mid morning bite and then again mid afternoon. The Jig Bite is ok But not phenomenal Fish are aggressive once the sun goes down 45 minutes to an hour after dark.
