Labor Day Swatfest

Saturday, August 30th
8:45am    Come out and play in the G.C.G.C. Labor Day tradition. Everyone tees off at the same time (expect 50-60 people) and we play till there’s no one left.  (Rain date Sunday, August 31st)

Hole 7, unknown year. We’re guessing in the 40’s or 50’s. The green hasn’t changed much over the years but the tee box is now throughly part of the parking lot of the Wharf and perched out over the water. Trees around the green have grown in a bit to frame the view. The shot however, remains the same. Good luck out there! 💦

We’re doing something a little different this year.

We’re holding the first annual
SUPERINTENDENT’S REVENGE

July 1st at 10 am

Mark Guyer, our superintendent will be setting up the course in diabolical 😈 ways. There might be obstacles, temporary hazards, fun (non-permanent) pin positions,
and different teeing grounds than our Members are accustomed to - Come join the fun!

We will play in a 9-hole shotgun, 3-person scramble format.

Bogey is the maximum allowed per hole. We have space for 30-36 players (10 to 12 teams). Sign up early!

⛳️ The season is underway and we have some great events planned for the summer including the first annual Casco Bay Open that’s open to everyone. Be sure to come through for that and the GCGC tradition: Swatfest, happening on July 4th and Labor Day weekends.

Thank you everyone for another great season. The course is now closed for the season. 2024 was a great year with the addition of Keith our head pro and Mark our new superintendent. We’re already looking forward to next 2025!
