Chazy Recreation Park Playground The town has recently given us permission to update the Chazy Recreational Park Playground. A daunting task, but it is a challenge we are all up for.

However, it is up to the community to raise all the necessary funds for the playground.

Here's today's PHOTO OF THE DAY!!! Welcome to Plattsburgh Barracks on the eve of World War 1. We're guessing you've never seen a Cadillac quite like the one pictured here. Most Caddies on the road these days don't mount a 30-calibre machine gun on top either. This amazing, colorized photo shows a 1915 Davidson armored car, photographed at what is now the parking area behind the familiar B-47 and FB-111 aircraft. The prototype had been sent to Plattsburgh to participate in military exercises, testing new doctrines developed for the modern mechanized Army. Many of the principles established here would soon be put to use overseas. Though never formally adopted by the Army, the Davidson Cadillac was revolutionary for its time and was able to reach speeds of over 70 miles an hour.
