Took 17 people to Belize-just got back!
Don’t miss the next one!!
Hey Divers,
I’ve gone three times in the last year and a half to Ramon’s Village in Ambergris Caye, Belize. I have liked every time so much, I just couldn’t stop myself from going again! That said, I’m doing a trip there this coming June 8-15, 2024. This time, you have the option of staying at Steve and Becky’s (across the street from the main resort in a garden setting), or staying at Ramon’s in a standard Seaside room- YOUR CHOICE until I run out of rooms!
The cost is $1,395 per diver, double occupancy at Steve and Becky’s (2 queen beds per unit) and $1,595 per diver, double occupancy (2 queen beds per unit) in a Seaside room at Ramon’s. This is includes your room, taxes, transfers from the airport, 6 days of 2 tank dives, breakfast daily, and taxes. Non-diver rates are approximately $500 per person less per week. There is a restaurant on the premises, and several others a short walk from the resort. There’s also a really neat wine place and an outdoor bar within about 2 minutes of where we stay. They do rent golf carts if you want to tour downtown San Pedro, but you could stay for the week without renting anything if you wanted. Generally, we split the cost of a cart between four people and it’s about $60-70 for five days, if I recall correctly. There are several nice restaurants in the town and several places to shop for souvenirs.
The plane ride from Belize City airport to the island is $175 per person round trip, and right now the cost to fly from Atlanta to Belize City is about $850 on Delta. We generally buy lunch stuff at a local store (less than a block from the resort), so your only meal out is dinner unless you want to hit the bar next to the airport or go to the ice cream shop next to it.
For those who did not dive the Blue Hole or want to do that again, the cost is about $235 per diver. To dive North Turneffe the cost is about $120 per diver. Both of these excursions include 3 dives, lunch and snacks. Afternoon dives are about $40 with tax.
I love this place, and you will as well. Call, Text, or email me if you want to go: 423-618-8111 or [email protected]. If you are going I need to know by December 05, 2023 at the latest to lock in your space-- their rules, not mine! I have several who have told me they are in, and at this point I may be able to get more rooms, but I had to beg my rep for the property in order to work this out so we could go in mid-June! Believe it or not there was only one other week available before early August! This truly is, in my opinion, the best bang for the buck in the Caribbean…
If you want a single room for yourself, rates are as follows: $1,772 per diver at Steve and Becky’s and $2,344 per diver at Ramon’s standard Seaside.
As most of you know, I’ve been all over the Caribbean over the last 30+ years and I’d put this place up against anywhere I’ve been-I got great pictures underwater here because there is nearly always something to see!
If you want to join us, I need to hear from you by December 5th, and I need a $250 deposit in my hands by December 8,, 2023.
Look forward to hearing from you shortly. Call my cell with any questions: 423-618-8111.
