PGA Show 2026 Demo Day Report

The parking and entry were an absolute cluster. Orange County National always hosts the Demo Day and it just feels strange driving down the middle of a fairway that was in great shape to park.

The new DF3 from Lab could be one of the best putters I’ve ever rolled a ball with. It is the same weight as the previous model and feels great. Unlike the Tri-Hot line from Callaway which has so much weight packed into the head of the putter that the ball comes off like a shotgun.

Nippon Pro Modus shafts are still the best and most used on tour. They’re coming out with a matte black finish this year which looks really good.

The QI4D from Taylormade, the Quantum from Callaway, and the JP series from Mizuno are extremely long drivers. Definite game changers. 20 to 25 yards extra carry distance with each of them and they are all extremely forgiving.

The new driving iron line from Srixon looks almost like a magic trick. It obviously has substantial weight and size to it being a driving iron but at address looks like a skinny blade., And feels like one too.
