Hey Whitebelt Kids!

After much deliberation, we have decided to take some time away from operating our kid’s program to allow from some regrouping. It has been an amazing year meeting and coaching such great kids from our community. We won’t be gone for long!

Thank you to everyone who has joined in this journey; we appreciate you and hope to see you back in the program upon our relaunch.

Brand X Chattanooga is on a mission to bring safe functional movement to the youth of Chattanooga.

Our goal is to always do what’s best for kids which includes well-rounded training so they can step out of our gym able to pursue whatever they desire!

At Brand X Chattanooga we use The Brand X Method which teaches youth how to move safely and efficiently while also training their mind to be mentally strong!

Everything taught in our program can be directly applied to any sport they already or plan on participating in.

This teen has been working SO hard the past two weeks! With continued time and practice this athlete will be deadlifting more than 30 pounds in no time!

Do your kids know what it means to engage their core?🤨

Learning to engage their abdominal muscles for movements like the hollow hold or “look like a banana”, will create more stability long term for movements such as lifting, and more importantly reduce the risk of injury to places like your back and spine!

Our youth and teen athletes are adding so many tools to their tool belt that will set them up for success in so many areas of life!

Muscles on or muscles off? 🤨
This is a great representation of a muscles OFF squat.

Why is this important? By knowing the difference between muscles on and muscles off our athletes know how to properly engage (or disengage) the correct muscle groups to SAFLEY perform moments such as air squats, deadlifts, jumps, etc. You will rarely see our athletes instructed to turn their muscles off, but it is necessary to practice the two simultaneously! 💪🏻
