Iron Men Dove Hunt

There’s a reason we say that it’s “more than just a dove hunt”. It’s never really about the birds. 😉 The 9th Annual Iron Men Dove Hunt was the best one yet! We had 160+ in attendance and were able to present the Thompson family with a check for $15,000 to help in their time of need as a small token of thanks for all their years of service supporting those in need in our community. It was a day spent sharpening iron and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

First and foremost we thank God for His love for us and everything He continues to do in our lives. And we cannot thank the community enough for coming out to support this precious family.

Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. James 1:17 NLT

The beneficiary for the 9th Annual Iron Men Dove hunt is Mr. Jerry Thompson. He is no stranger to all of us since he and his wife, Mrs. Marjorie, have devoted countless hours throughout their lives serving and helping their fellow citizens in Washington County through numerous benefits, trail rides, etc.

Mr. Jerry is now 82 and in the late stages of dementia, which is a terrible disease and requires round the clock care. It’s our turn to show he and his family just how thankful we are for his years of compassion and service to our community!

Mark your calendars! Saturday, September 13, 2025 is the date for the 9th Annual Iron Men Dove Hunt 🥰. As most of you know, this is a day filled with food, fellowship, and sharing God’s love and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And there’s a dove hunt at the end 😉

The seeds have been planted in our hearts and in the field, and we are praying and believing for a beautiful day spent sharpening iron and basking in the goodness of everything He has done in our lives.
