Another big hit to our winter.

Cancellation of UP200, Midnight Run and Jack Pine 30:

Due to deteriorating trail conditions and an unseasonably warm extended weather forecast, the UP200 has canceled the UP200, Midnight Run and Jack Pine 30 scheduled for February 16-18, 2024.

There is some snow in the woods but not much for riding besides the forest roads. Corners and high traffic areas are toast. We need snow desperately. Pictures are from trail 8 East of Chatham.

Sorva and Grand Marais have there groomers out and working today.

We have the Bison and drag all ready to go. The Loaner Bully is also ready. We are going to begin panning the trails when conditions permit. Currently we have 3 to 4 inches on the ground. Tomorrow it looks like we are going to get some more snow. We will be monitoring conditions closely. Hope we fin...

We got hammered with snow finally. 100 quick miles last night. No groomers out yet but there is plenty of snow in the central UP.

Trail 8 east out of Chatham. No base yet, just the couple inches you see. Finally going in the right direction though! Updates coming.

With the snowmobile season coming up, when we start grooming for the season. The SSA will be using Groomer Tracker this year. What does that me for all you snowmobilers? You'll be able to track where are groomers are and see what trails we have groomed and when. You can download the Groomer Tracker app for free. It only cost you $10 to follow the SSA for the hole season. Great part is Groomer Tracker donates half of the fee that follows the SSA back to us.
