Way to go Cavs for representing at Randolph-Henry today!!! Senior Taylor Moore 1st place in 170lb, Senior Kamden Lewis 2nd place in 152lb, Junior Caleb Oakes 2nd place in heavyweight, Senior Trevor DC 4th place in 195lb. Amazing young men representing CHS Cavaliers.

Last nights scrimmage kicked off the beginning of our Cavs 2018-2019 wrestling season!! Thank you for all who came out to support! Also to the Dan River and Randolph Henry wrestlers and coaches for attending.

There will be a wrestling camp for local high school wrestlers at Tunstall High School on Tuesday, July 11 and Wednesday, July 12. The cost is $40 and it will run from 9am - 12pm. Contact Caleb Harmon if you are interested.

Brice Hankins' very successful season was cut short due to a knee injury before Sub-Regionals. Please keep him in your prayers as he goes into surgery this morning to repair the torn ACL. Jamey Hankins Tina Hankins We are praying for God to guide the surgical team as they do their job and for Him to give you courage and strength during the recovery.

All 3 of our wrestlers will continue today. They each had one loss and a win yesterday. They will have tough matches today to determine their placings. Keep them in your thoughts - or come on down to Salem and cheer them on! Wrestling begins at 9 am today.

It’s a long way to Grundy from Chatham, but the wrestling team took the road less traveled in order to compete in the 2A West Region Championship Tournament. Every wrestler in the tournament was intent on qualifying for the state tournament in Salem.

From VHSL website - 1A & 2A wrestling begins Friday, 2/17 at noon. There are 3 sessions scheduled for 2A. $10 per session or $25 for all-session pass. 2 sessions on Friday with conclusion on Saturday.
