The Noe Pond Club, a member-owned, non-profit family swim club, was founded in 1955 by Nancy Tasman Brower and Bailey Brower Jr. , The three-and-a-half-acre pond, the Club's hallmark, has been an important part of the Chatham Township community and Brower family history since the early 1800's. The well-fed pond served the family's large dairy and fruit farm and also served as the local source of i

ce for the town's residents during the winter months. In 1955, the Browers repurposed the land, creating a beautiful beachfront club for members to enjoy. Today,the Club amenities include a large dock, diving boards, slides, a float, a log roll, a variety of small boats, a second white sand beach, fountains, ten Har-Tru and turf tennis courts, a paddle hut with 4 lighted Paddle courts, a pavilion, playgrounds, the Club grill, picnic areas, clubhouse with locker rooms, a paved parking lot, and expansive landscaped and well-maintained grounds. Generations of families have learned to swim, dive, play tennis, and play paddle tennis at Noe Pond. The swimming emblem program, unique to Noe Pond Club, has provided incentive to thousands of children to learn to swim at a very young age.
