SUMMER SOCCER FITNESS TRAINING PROGRAM

GO FOR A GOAL!
Our program is designed to improve 4 areas of fitness: Speed, Agility, Endurance, and Overall Body Strength. Using proper mechanics and technique, this program will aim to reduce the risk of injury while maximizing performance. In this summer program, each athlete will perform various base line tests during their first week of class to gauge their specific strengths and weaknesses. On the final week of the program, each athlete will be re-tested to note areas of improvement!

Developing speed and power in young golfers is much more than lifting weights. Having a TPI certified professional conduct a level 1 screen and power screen will reveal keys to movement and an understanding how the golfer is using the key components of the body to transfer power. For example, many female golfers need stability rather than flexibility. Working to become more flexible if not necessary is a waste of time and can lead to the development of swing faults and poor mechanics. Not knowing before you train a golfer if they are upper or lower dominate will be inefficient and not produce the desired results. Training golfers requires an in-depth knowledge of the kinematic sequence and how it relates to the mechanics of the golf swing. # performance18golftraining.
