Many thanks to the Columbia Clippers , Guilderland Bulldogs, Upper Deck Titans
and the Pittsfield Nationals for making the trip to Gloversville to participate in the inaugural New York State Baseball Hall of Fame Tournament. Rains prevented the championship game so the Titans and Clippers agreed to 'split' the trophy and have it displayed in the HOF with this picture and their names to commemorate the day.

Today the Columbia Clippers 12u played their final game. What a fitting way to celebrate this great team. The team was invited to play in the inaugural New York State Baseball Hall of Fame tournament At Parkhurst Field in Gloversville. In game 1 the Clippers defeated Guilderland 7-1. Game 2 was called short due to rain. Unfortunately the boys were not able to finish the Championship, but they sure did enjoy the day at the facility.

During the day the team was given a tour and presentation on the history of the field which included history of Honus Wagner, CY Young and Moonlight Graham all playing on this same field. In between games the team was invited to take a tour of the newly opened NYS Hall of Fame. There were numerous MLB and NYS Hall of Famers on hand to speak with the kids, to include legendary Coach Craig Phillips.

What a great day at this amazing facility!!

Columbia Clippers 12U won big over Bulldogs White 12U 7-1 on Saturday.

In game 1 of the Parkhurst Field and New York State Baseball Hall of Fame inaugural travel baseball tournament the Clippers came out swinging and represented Columbia Columbia County well.

An error put Columbia Clippers 12U on the board in the bottom of the second.

Columbia Clippers 12U added one run in the third after Mason B singled.

Amarion P hit a solo home run to right field in the bottom of the fifth for the Columbia Clippers 12U.

Amarion earned the win for Columbia Clippers 12U. The left-handed pitcher surrendered six hits and one run over six innings, striking out eight and walking two. Ethan T took the loss for Bulldogs White 12U. The starting pitcher went two innings, allowing two runs (zero earned) on one hit, striking out two and walking two. Logan B tossed one inning of shutout ball for Columbia Clippers 12U in relief. They gave up zero hits, striking out none and walking none.

Amarion led Columbia Clippers 12U with two hits in four at bats. Kerner B, Amarion, and Mason each drove in one run for Columbia Clippers 12U. Keegan M led Columbia Clippers 12U with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Columbia Clippers 12U were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Braeden B had the most chances in the field with 10.

Thank you to Parkhurst Field and New York State Baseball Hall of Fame. They have invited some travel baseball teams from NY and MA to come play on the new Parkhurst Field. This tournament coincides with the GRAND OPENING of the New York State Baseball Hall of Fame in Gloversville, NY.

Clippers hold off Mechanicville Red Storm under the lights winning 6-5 in the non-league game.

Despite seeing their 6-run lead whittled down by the end, Columbia Clippers 12U still held off for a 6-5 victory on Thursday. RedStorm 12U closed the gap by scoring on a single, a dropped third strike, an error, a ground out, and a ground out.

Columbia Clippers 12U got on the board in the first inning after Mason B hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

Columbia Clippers 12U scored five runs on two hits in the bottom of the second inning. Braeden B laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring one run, Keegan M was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, an error scored one run, and Tanner K singled, scoring two runs.

Evan C earned the win for Columbia Clippers 12U. The righty gave up two hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out one and walking two. Jayden R took the loss for RedStorm 12U. The righty went two and two-thirds innings, giving up six runs (three earned) on three hits, striking out two and walking six. Ethan B appeared in relief for Columbia Clippers 12U.

Tanner provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Columbia Clippers 12U with two runs batted in. The number three hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Amarion P paced Columbia Clippers 12U with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, amassing seven walks for the game. Columbia Clippers 12U turned one double play in the game.

Great game tonight under the lights at Crellin Park. We even had a dignitary in the house, Tim Martin came out to give us good luck!
