These 12 boys from Chaska Hawks 12AAA would like to say a huge Thank You to everyone who has supported our Road to Cooperstown! So much planning and effort goes into a trip like this and it wouldn't be possible without the support of our families, friends and the Chaska community. To all of you who came to our Bash, bought our salt and our t-shirts, made generous donations, followed us on Game Changer, etc., Thank You! Each one of these boys is aware that what they just got to experience is a "once in a lifetime" and they are truly grateful. We came to Cooperstown one team out of 104 and played our way into the 16th spot, proudly representing Chaska along the way. Hawk Pride was evident throughout Dreams Park all week long! Soar Hawks!

A big day for the Hawks. They started the day with a shutout 2-0 victory over a team from WI. Nile Hesson was on the mound from start to finish, pitching a complete game in the shutout!! The two runs in the game came from homeruns hit by Matthew Paul and Micah Hutchings. Solid defense all around rounded out the game.

After a brief rain delay, game #2 was underway in the evening. Matthew Paul hit homerun #2 for the day and with top notch pitching, offense and defense, the Hawks found themselves in a tie ballgame going into the bottom of the 6th. With a runner on, Bryce Hansen smacked a walk-off two run homer to end the game with a final score of 6-4.

The Hawks record of 5-1 in pool play gets them the 16th seed out of 104 teams going into Wednesday's bracket play. The boys next take the field at 4pm eastern time.

It took the Hawks just four innings to knock down the Knights with a final score of 13-1. Now off to tour the Baseball Hall of Fame! Back at it in the morning playing the Moorpark Mavericks from California. Keep rolling Hawks!

Game #1 is in the books and it's a win for the Chaska Hawks! The boys beat the Chicago Lightening 13-11. Next up the Northboro Knights from Massachusetts. Our final practice is in the books. Our bat bags are packed. Our first game in Cooperstown, NY will be underway in 4 days. We are pumped!! Take a look at our regular game schedule attached below. You'll see that our two Sunday games will be televised on DreamsParkTV.com. The times listed are in the eastern time zone, so you'll have to get up early to watch as at 7:30am central time and then again at 12:45pm. We cannot wait to get to Dreams Park and start representing Chaska in a week of baseball. Thank you for supporting our Road to Cooperstown!!

Happy Father's Day to all of the wonderful Dads and Grandpas who will be spending their day with us on the ball fields in Mankato (or watching us play on Game Changer!).
