Position Days/Hours: Monday-Friday 2:45pm-5:45pm; Student Contact Days
Salary: $20.99/hr.

Bravo to our Early Education team for presenting at last night’s School Board work session! 👏

Through StormHawks Preschool, our youngest learners build the early literacy skills that prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. At the end of last school year:

📚 89% of 4-year-olds met or exceeded age expectations for expressive vocabulary.
📖 91% met or exceeded age expectations for emergent reading skills.

This year, we’re building on that success by launching SEEDS of Learning, an evidence-based framework focused on language, literacy, and social-emotional growth. We’re also partnering with Early Learning Corps to bring AmeriCorps tutors into preschool classrooms for targeted literacy and math support.

Kudos to our Early Education staff for creating a strong start for our youngest learners!

The growing season is in full swing, and it is the perfect time to learn the essentials of home food preservation!

Registration is open for our Basic Home Food Preservation adult enrichment class held at Chaska High School on Tuesday, September 1 from 6:30-8:30 PM.

This class makes it easy, covering tools, food safety, and ingredient selection for successful preservation. You will receive hands-on experience with water bath processing.
