Quadcross New England LLC round 8 finally made it up to my neck of the woods..... The Dirt Side at RS&AP for those who have followed the journey you all know that the action started right here on this very soil.....so needless to say I was excited to race on my home turf. Vinny Mofford Excavation LLC along with some help from Phillip Lurie Jr. groomed the track for some awesome racing. The dirtside crew busted butt and made sure dust was not going to be an issue of course mother nature had to help out a little bit on Sat during practice with sporadic rain showers 🌦🌦 just enough to keep the dirt wet but not really muddy, everyone got a decent amount of practice in.
Sunday started off with the 70 Auto class
1st moto little slow coming out of the gate ended up holding down 3rd for the race couple times caught up to 2nd but just couldn't make the pass
2nd moto came out of gate a little better got to the first turn in second over shot the turn fell back to 3rd rode tight to #7 and #33 but just couldn't make it happen
3rd🥉 overall

I was excited for my 70 mod class cuz finally my new shock was installed and I was ready ti send it
1st moto Had an awesome start ✨️ managed to come out of the first turn in the front and held off the pack for a couple laps but ended up making a slight mistake and falling back to 4th to finish the race
2nd moto Had some mechanical malfunctions with the shifter not starting and had to use my auto so that I could make sure I finished the race......I had a great start and led for 2 laps before losing the lead to speed demon #383 Crystal Gillis Havens and finishing the race in 2nd
2nd🥈overall
All in all it was an awesome weekend......there was a few lil mishaps but no one left in an ambulance and no major injuries and sounds like a lot of peeps really enjoyed the dirtside so cant wait for next year!!!!!

📣🏁 Race Report - Round 7 Quadcross New England LLC 🏁📣
First I wanna give a huge shout out to my Dad and wish him a happy birthday, hope.you had a awesome weekend and also thank you to Liam Mallard & Katie Beth for coming to check me out on the track
70 Mod -- we were battling a blown rear shock and a freak incident with my spark plug breaking during practice causing me to get towed off.....Thankfully Dad was able to get the plug thing fixed. 1st moto came out 4th into the corner but shortly after 1st lap the quad was all over the place rear shock just not right ended up 6th, 2nd moto focus was to make go out and finish the race, adjustments to shock just didnt work out ....ended up 7th for an overall 6th .... Def not what we had hoped for!
70 Auto -- moto 1 came out of gate 3rd and managed to work my way to 2nd before the checkered flew, 2nd moto track was rough so focus was on ensuring we finished, came out 3rd and rode 3rd position for the race taking home 3rd overall.
Next Round will be at The Dirt Side at RS&AP on Sept 7th fingers crossed to represent my home town track

On our way to Quadcross New England LLC Round 7 Capeway Rovers mx track and I just can't resist stopping by to see what kind of trouble I can get into.
