I’ve been making calls to the afterlife lately. Usually to chat to my dad about business stuff. I joke that he’s my astral business manager—but also—it’s not really a joke. (See last photo of ‘s wonderful Telephone of the Wind.)

Anyway, my son turned 1 on Saturday. God, I love him so much. I had no idea what a second child could be like, actually like, feel like after having a first whom I adore. Turns out it’s…the same, but different, and so much better because I get to be with them both, and one-on-one also. Plus they both have great senses of humor. Especially Aidan who loves to initiate rounds of peek-a-boo with me and then laugh his head off.

Aidan’s birthday was on Saturday. My dad’s birthday was on Monday. My father-in-law’s birthday is on Tuesday (today). A lot of good Virgo vibes in the ethers, with this amazing little soul to ground it in my everyday reality.

How truly lucky am I 😭

Daily blessings persist despite my grief and fury, despite the continued cruelty, abuse, ignorance, and unfathomable greed.

Aidan is 9 months old and Jack is officially 4!

I am beyond grateful. May I continue to share from this overflowing well of abundance. May this love multiply and soften and cut through the brainwashing and sociopathy. May the future be a place I want my children to live in.
