Congrats to Jie, Justin, and Kevin on a great run at Nationals this past weekend in Round Rock, Texas! 🎉 Jie was able to get into the round of 16 in women’s singles. Wildcards Justin and Kevin were both in the running for top 64 in men’s singles. 🎊

Congrats to the UVA A team for a great showing at Regionals✨! The team’s first seed, Jie Lu, earned first place in Women’s singles and qualified for Nationals🥇! The club also received their trophy from Divisionals, which is now on display in the Slaughter Recreation Center at UVA🏆.

🎊Congrats to our UVA A, B, and C teams for first place at the Spring Divisional tournament🎉! They played against ODU(4-0), VCU(4-0), CNU(4-0), JMU(4-0), W&M(4-0), Liberty(4-0), and VTech(3-0). UVA’s A team will next compete in the Mid-Atlantic regionals! 😄

- Sundays from 3:30pm - 5:30pm
- Tuesdays from 4:45pm-6:15pm
- Wednesdays from 5:30pm to 7:30pm
- Fridays from 5:30pm to 8:30pm

🎉Congratulations to our UVA A team for getting first place in Virginia at the Fall Divisional Tournament on Sunday!🥳 They played against William & Mary(4-0), Old Dominion University(4-0), Christopher Newport University(4-0), and Virginia Tech(3-1). The club will be defending the title in the Spring semester.😁

👋 Hello!
Thank you for your hard work at tryouts yesterday😊! We wanted to let you guys know that we will be holding a club party that will hopefully relieve some stress and let us get to know each other a bit better 😁
Food and drinks will be provided and below has some information regarding the party:

- The party will be on Friday, November 5th from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am
- We will be hosting it at the Standard courtyard and there will likely be someone to help guide people upon arrival.
- The party is meant to be for club members that have paid dues only, but if someone outside of the club would like to join, we do ask that they submit $3 to our Venmo at -Nigam.

Hey UVA Table Tennis,
We have a few exciting announcements today regarding upcoming tournaments and tryouts!🤩

Tournament Info
- We have just received confirmation that our Regional NCTTA tournament is happening on November 7th and will be organizing tryouts this week in preparation for them.
- The tournament will be at WDTTC at 9:00 am November 7 (Address: 6403 Chillum Pl NW, Washington DC, 20012)

Now, for the moment we've all been practicing for...
Tryouts!!🎊
- ⭐️ Tryouts will be held over the course of 2 days and members will be required to attend at least 1 of the days for the full period of time.
- ⭐️ We will be looking for 12 members, and possibly a women's team to represent us at this regional tournament (They also get free shirts! 🙂 ).
- ⭐️If you are interested in trying out, please fill out this Google Form before this Thursday night: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScdnS6LLGtEa2n8YvxDst9yq4tJEZj4i55McpJEAT50ALtRRQ/viewform
- ⭐️ Tryout dates: This Friday, October 29 from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm and Saturday, October 30th from 12-3 pm

*Note that Friday is our normal practice time, so please do not attend unless you are trying out.
- Please let me know if you won't be able to make the tryout days and we can try to figure something out.

We apologize in advance for the late notice as we had just received information about the tournament date a few hours ago. We understand if you won't be able to make it to either of our tryout days and so, if that is the case, please email me and we can try to figure out a way to let you still try out.😊
