Tying, trailer loading, leading/following on the trail, and crossing water are all basic skills a horse and rider should be able to do easily, but they’re also areas where many horse owners run into trouble. These are simple expectations that every horse should be able to do. Too often I see people making excuses for their horses or simply getting stuck. Years go by and they don’t fully enjoy their horse - whether from fear, lack of education, or not having the right support system. That’s just not fair to you or your horse.
That’s where I come in. You don’t have to navigate this alone. I work with both horse and rider to build confidence, clarity, and consistency, breaking each skill down into simple, practical steps that make sense for you and your horse. Whether your horse needs a tune-up or you need guidance on timing, feel, and communication, I’ll meet you where you’re at (judgement free) and help you move forward. My goal is to give you the tools and understanding to feel safe, capable, and truly enjoy your horse the way you’ve always wanted to.
