Congratulations to Bradyn Volz and Gabe Sotelo on being named all county for the Royals! Second team all county awards go to EH’s Chayse Mix, Aden Montgomery, and Hunter Survant.

Awesome work to these individuals!! Hancock County wrestling is extremely competitive, to win either of these awards is a substantial accomplishment.

The 2026 All-Hancock County Boys Wrestling Team is heavy on talent, and heavy on Dragons.

Watch out! The Middle School Wrestling Royals are Mid-Eastern Conference Champions for the 5th Consecutive year. Both the high school and middle school teams win the conference championship in Eastern Hancock’s final year in the conference. Individual results are below.

Last night the middle school wrestlers competed in the Hancock County Wrestling Tournament. The Royals were able to get 6 wrestlers in to the finals and Clyde Downer was crowned Hancock County champ! The Middle School team will finish out their season this weekend at the MEC tournament.

Bradyn fell short of placement losing his Friday night match up against the eventual state Runner-up. Bradyn competed and represented EH with pride at the IHSAA State Finals, and he will without a doubt be back next year.

Congratulations to Bradyn and all of the area wrestlers who were represented at the State Finals.
