Watch out! The Middle School Wrestling Royals are Mid-Eastern Conference Champions for the 5th Consecutive year. Both the high school and middle school teams win the conference championship in Eastern Hancock’s final year in the conference. Individual results are below.

Last night the middle school wrestlers competed in the Hancock County Wrestling Tournament. The Royals were able to get 6 wrestlers in to the finals and Clyde Downer was crowned Hancock County champ! The Middle School team will finish out their season this weekend at the MEC tournament.

Bradyn fell short of placement losing his Friday night match up against the eventual state Runner-up. Bradyn competed and represented EH with pride at the IHSAA State Finals, and he will without a doubt be back next year.

Congratulations to Bradyn and all of the area wrestlers who were represented at the State Finals.

From freshmen to seniors and representation from all four county schools, the 2025-26 All-Hancock County Girls Wrestling Team consists of local grapplers that carried a successful regular season into the postseason.

We are headed to state! Congratulations to Bradyn Volz who punched his ticket to the IHSAA State Finals for the THIRD time in his career! Bradyn will compete next Friday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Big day at the Richmond Regional! The Royals Advanced 5 wrestlers to the New Castle Semi-State! As a team the Royals finsihed the day 5th out of 20 teams. This is the most wrestlers representing Eastern Hancock at the Semi-State since 2002. Bradyn Volz and Hunter Survant were crowned Regional Champions! Congratulations to Hunter Survant who broke the Single Season Falls record Saturday at the IHSAA Sectional. The previous record of 26 was held by Alexander Burton (2018-19). Hunter earned his 27th fall during the finals.

Eastern Hancock had four champions, and five other wrestlers win consolation round matches, to clinch its second straight Mid-Eastern Conference wrestling title at Cowan High School in Muncie on Saturday.
