Don’t let the crazy colorway of this Rico distract you from the transformation from brick to slick. Erik Weinhold works like a charm with a beauty of a pounding pad from BallPlayersBalm®️

Repeat customers rock! I got an urgent message from a mom whose daughter needed two gloves worked on in short order while home on fall break. I was happy to be able to provide The Works to both these beauties (second time for the catcher’s mitt). BallPlayersBalm®️ cleaner worked wonders, really brightening up the infield glove.

A quick lesson in glove anatomy as it relates to glove break ins with Erik Weinhold and John J. Walker II

The future of this glove is so bright I gotta wear shades!

Out with the old!

The time was right to get rid of the old color in the laces of this HoH. A Charlottesville Tom Sox pitcher wanted to clean this bad boy up and make it sleek with black laces. Mission accomplished. BallPlayersBalm®️ brought the goods and I put in the work to get this baby back on the diamond.

Sometimes subtle differences are all that are needed to make a glove look and feel like new again. Notice how the shape changes with new laces. The glove can stay open without the needle and the pocket deepens with new finger and web lace (I did have a little shaping help from my Erik Weinhold at the request of the client). It’s a beautiful glove and it doesn’t need bright laces. The richness of the dark leather speaks for itself. This glove will be on the field for Warriors softball again soon!

Once again, BallPlayersBalm®️ cleaner and conditioner got the job done!

Been a minute since I’ve posted, but I’ve been busy. Thanks to new and returning customers that trust me with their gloves! Here’s a couple mid-season fixes for some travel ball boys. The SSK got The Works with BallPlayersBalm®️ goods and the HoH needed a quick turnaround with The Swap. Both were fun projects and I was glad to get these gloves back on the field in a hurry.

I had a blast at the Charlottesville Tom Sox game recently. It was a great day of baseball and glove work as I got to watch the Sox put up 21 runs and I got to tighten up the laces on a few of the players’ gloves.

The Sox just finished up a grey season, congrats guys!

This Mizuno got MVPampered! had the right stuff to clean the dirt and condition the leather.

It came to me with a busted web and leaves ready to shine behind the plate.
