MINT Strength At MINT Strength we provide detailed programming and hands-on remote coaching for all athletes interested in developing Strength and Conditioning.

We specialize in Olympic Weightlifting and love sharing our passion for the sport. We provide hands-on coaching and detailed programming focused on developing technical consistency for the Sn**ch and Clean and Jerk. Pairing mechanics with plenty of Pulling, Pressing, and Squatting allows our athletes realize their potential and reach their goals. We believe in creating an uplifting environment and

We are starting week 5 of our 12-week Cycle. This 12-week Olympic Weightlifting cycle is designed with three 4-week microcycles.

Microcycle 2: Intensity & Refinement (Weeks 5-8)��This microcycle increases intensity and introduces more complex variations of the main lifts, challenging strength and technique under heavier loads. Accessory work continues to support overall strength and joint health.

We are starting week 1 of a 12-week Cycle. This 12-week Olympic Weightlifting cycle is designed with three 4-week microcycles.

Microcycle 1: Accumulation & Foundational Strength (Weeks 1-4)

This microcycle focuses on building a solid base with higher rep ranges for strength and drilling fundamental positions for the Olympic lifts. The emphasis is on quality of movement and establishing a strong work capacity.

Our Story

MINT Strength and Conditioning was founded in 2016 by Kristen Jones and Jay Malone. We began with a simple vision… Take our excitement for fitness, coaching, and service and share it with our local community! We provide an atmosphere where the goals of each individual will be reached whether they’re an elite athlete or someone working out for the first time. As owners and coaches, we are determined to help individuals realize their potential and encourage them to live life to the fullest. We ensure the genuine care of our members and the environment they have chosen at MINT to enhance their health and fitness journey.

From 2011 to 2016 we served as the head coaches of Friendship CrossFit in Dublin, OH. We were surrounded by an amazing community of people that fed our passion for being the best coaches we could possibly be. From this began a dream of opening a gym of our own. MINT Strength was a big leap of faith for us. Following that dream, we left Ohio and moved to Phoenix, AZ to open MINT. After vacationing in Phoenix a few times we were drawn to the fitness culture, the beautiful landscapes and the sunny days. We got engaged at the top of Camelback Mountain in 2015 and married in Cave Creek in 2017! We love our new home and can’t wait to share our passion with a community of people dedicated to improving their lives with us.
