Scott Jedlinski is a lifelong martial artist (TKD, Muay Thai, BJJ). He has received hundreds of hours of training from people considered to be the best in the industry ranging from tactical/self-defense to competition. Scott is a Master class shooter in USPSA and is the 16th recipient of the F.A.S.T Drill ( #15) coin along with being a three stripe Purple Belt under Tony Passos.

nd thoughts have been shared in Media and publications like Primary & Secondary, Recoil Magazine, the NRA's Shooting Illustrated, SureFire's "Field Notes" series and Combat Handguns Magazine. He has been interviewed on well-known shows like Ballistic Radio, Firearms Nation, Concealed Carry Podcast and Street Warrior Radio.

​Scott has been afforded the honor of instructing members of Pentagon ERT, US Marshal's Service, NYPD Instructor Cadre, Chicago SWAT, Ohio Tactical Officers Association, Texas Tactical Police Officers Association, George Mason University Police, Santa Ana CA PD, the FBI National Tactical Training Unit, US Border Patrol's FMU, Phoenix PD, Garland Texas SWAT, Houston SWAT, Houston Narcotics and many more.

​While Scott can teach many aspects of the successful implementation of a pistol, his main focus is the instruction of the red dot equipped pistol.

Hotel dry-fire. If I am out of ideas, I will go to the app, randomly pick a classifier from list. Do some reverse math based on GM times (Points/HF = Time). Then I will multiply by .75 to accommodate for lack of recoil. So this is 13-06 Too Close for Comfort. Based on the math, 4.5 seconds is what is needed. Think I got or at least almost on this run. The mini targets make setting things up so easy! Also playing around with the MARS magnet has been super fun and interesting. What a super fun match at the conference. Outstanding job by and others for putting together this awesome time to get cops out to compete. Felt pretty good about 5 out of the 6 stages. Also had a great time running the match in my ALS and duty belt. Here’s one my favorite.

It’s not speed or accuracy, it is both. The balance is based on the difficulty of the target.

People often feel that they are still faster with their irons up close (3 yards or so) than the dot when first transitioning to the dot . Mostly because they require very little information when they shoot irons. But then, they get a dot and everything needs to be perfect. Gross sight pictures are an effective way to regain that speed and build an index to eventually acquire the dot every time giving you more options.

Super fun 4 stage match at today. For the first time in a while I ran a clean match (0 mikes / 0 no shoots) and 0 deltas without sacrificing speed. Just as glory was within reach, God said “No fam, remain humble. We still have a lot of work to do” and blessed me with a malfunction on the classifier. What would have been an 86% became a 72%. All good. Practice what I preach and keep working harder.

That said, it was great seeing and . Also the MARS magnet mount is the truth.
