If you identify as a 4.5+ this series is for you.
Before you start watching this series I want to place some weight on the mental side of your game, in particular, on the topic of discipline.
Trying different things every day might make you feel like you’re learning and getting better, but your level isn’t getting any higher. Hmmmm how could that be??🤨
If you’re at this level and still wanting to progress, It’s not about learning more it’s about diving deeper. Sharpening what’s there. Developing the game that’s there, into a more consistent higher quality game.
You might learn some new things along the way but it’s all connected to winning and progressing as a player, not learning for learnings sake.
I have a a challenge for you real quick - visualize yourself going through a championship point and winning the point. How’d you play the point? Did you hit a drop or a drive? Are you setting your partner up? Did you crash or did you hit resets to get to the net? How’d you win it? Backhand flick down the line? Forehand counter in the middle? Set your partner up with a ball through the middle?
However you see yourself winning points, it needs to be your goal EVERY point to set that up. If you’re lucky and a developed a good game for yourself you MAYBE will have 2 or 3 reliable point structures. Most people have 1 reliable go to structure to win a point. Stick to them and BUILD OFF THAT!!
If you’re serious about improving - Theres a free Course on SKOOL called Dinkademics.
