First mare of the season in for breeding! Wouldn't ya know it's snowing the whole time we're getting her settled in. Now the sun is out and it's warming up....bipolar much, mother nature?

Productive day on the farm! Got horses shuffled around again, fixed the fence twice (thanks Dahly). Gave shots, weighed horses, cleaned up manure and got to see and feel Boogies foal moving! All in all a good day! Now I'm a tired mama!

Getting everything ready for the cold season. Moved fencing around for round bales and easier snow removal. Weighed all horses on property..Oh boy do we got some big uns....lol! The next couple weeks we will adjust feed and watch weight so we go in to winter well! Horses are starting to get fuzzy! Next mission...combing all the burdock mess out of manes and tails!
