As we embark on the journey of the promising year 2024, let us seek wisdom and guidance from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The instructions given to me by the Lord are crystal clear.- "The blessing of obedience and the curse of disobedience." The Word of God reminds us that if we love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul, and strength, we will surely achieve success in all our (His) endeavors. The word "soul" can be defined as the mind, will, and emotions in its original Hebrew form. To live a life that pleases God, we must obey Him in all three categories. David's words serve as a reminder to all of us to keep our hearts pure through the power of the word of God. By hiding His word in our hearts, we strengthen our resolve to resist temptation and stay on the path of righteousness. The application of God's word in every area of our lives will keep us aligned with His will and purposes. It is only when we try to live life on our own that we bring curses upon ourselves.
The best part is that God's commandments are not burdensome or difficult to follow. In fact, they are designed to help us lead a fulfilled life and understand His divine will for our lives. So let's embrace His teachings wholeheartedly and embark on a journey filled with blessings and favor!
