3rd thru 8th Grade teams have the ability to achieve points through selected AAU Licensed events. Points are based on a total percentage of 100% with three different stages of events a team can gain points. Each level has been assigned a percentage that is then added to the final point total to calculate the total. Teams are able to earn more points depending on the division of the event assigned by the host (DI DII or DIII). Here are the levels

An AAU Select Event is one that is a local event and would be categorized as an invitational or any other event designated by the District Sports Director. ​Select Events are 25% of a team’s total points.
