RE: MEMORANDUM TO ALL
ECF Family,
We regret to inform you that East Coast Fighter has decided to close down our business. Our last day of classes will be on 10/22/22. After that date, ECF will no longer be offering any kind of Martial Arts and Fitness classes at this location. We will be terminating all of the contract memberships effective by 9/30/22. We will be offering only daily and weekly passes until we close. All our equipment will be up for sale after closing date.
The decision to close down our business was not easy, but because of several factors such as, Covid 19 recovery, Building Lease Renewal issues, and a few personal reasons (I recently retired as a Law Enforcement Officer and have a desire to spend more time with my family and friends, and travel) have also weighed big in my final decision.
Over the last 13 years, we at ECF, enjoyed the relationships with our students and we appreciate all the support we have received from every person that has come in thru our doors and has been part of our lives.
When coming back from Thailand, in 2009, I decided to start teaching Muay Thai in Charlotte. I built the East Coast Fighter gym from scratch and developed a small following of students. Today, the gym has grown tremendously, and I’ve brought in a couple of great instructors, that also started their own programs within my gym.
I feel that I have completed my main mission in Martial Arts, which was to spread the word and traditions of Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Fitness Kickboxing to our beautiful Charlotte and surrounding areas. I have trained many people from around the world, and it has been a privilege to be your instructor and coach. We will cherish every relationship that we have acquired in and out of the gym because of the Martial Arts, and hopefully will stay in touch with many of you.
I want to wish all of the instructors who taught martial arts and fitness programs at East Coast Fighter continued success in their professional careers. I would like to thank all of you, our loyal students at our East Coast Fighter gym, and I encourage you to continue on your martial arts journey. ECF could not have been as successful as it was without your loyalty and support.
If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to talk to me after classes, or to talk to us at the front desk.
Sincerely
Kru James Armlin
East Coast Fighter
