Nick Scott made the most of his opportunity in 2025.

The veteran safety put together the best season of his career and became an important part of Carolina's playoff team.

His season included:

💙 111 tackles (2nd on team)
🖤 1 interception
💙 3 passes defended
🖤 1 fumble recovery

Scott appeared in all 17 games and started every one of them, providing consistency and leadership in the Panthers' secondary.

His strong play helped earn him a new contract this offseason, keeping him in Carolina for the next chapter of his career.

After a career year and a division title, Scott is back for more in 2026.

Tetairoa McMillan already delivered everything the Carolina Panthers could have hoped for as a rookie.

The former first-round pick won Offensive Rookie of the Year after posting 70 catches, 1,017 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns while playing in an offense that ranked near the bottom of the league in passing production.

Now expectations are even higher.

Bleacher Report recently named McMillan a clear “buy stock” candidate entering 2026, projecting an even bigger season as Bryce Young continues to develop and Carolina expands its passing attack.

The Panthers believe McMillan is the key to unlocking the offense. His size, route-running ability, and reliability already made him Young’s favorite target, and a full second season together could take that connection to another level.

If Carolina’s passing game takes the next step, McMillan could be looking at his first Pro Bowl season and firmly establish himself as one of the NFL’s rising stars.

Between the massive catch radiuses of Tetairoa McMillan and Xavier Legette to the smooth route-running of Jalen Coker, this seven-man rotation is built for the future.

If Coker or Legette officially takes that next massive leap, Carolina’s offense becomes a certified problem.🐾📈

Tre'von Moehrig has a strong case as the league's most underrated defender, as he leads the Panthers' secondary by being a hybrid "chess piece" on defense. 🔒🛡️

NFL.com ranked the Carolina Panthers as the No. 7 team most likely to win their first Super Bowl.

Carolina showed real progress last season, winning the NFC South and nearly pushing the Rams in the playoffs. The defense has more upside after adding Jaelan Phillips and Devin Lloyd, while Derrick Brown gives the front a true centerpiece.

But the Panthers’ ceiling still depends on Bryce Young. If he finds more consistency and takes another step with an improved supporting cast, Carolina’s path to contention becomes much clearer.

Jalen Coker absolutely caught fire to close out the year, flashing elite chemistry with Bryce Young before putting on a postseason masterclass with a massive 134-yard playoff performance. He has firmly cemented his claim as a premier weapon in this young passing offense. 📉✈️

When the Panthers needed someone to set the tone, Derrick Brown was there once again.

The veteran defensive tackle remained one of the most reliable players on the roster, helping Carolina win the division and return to the postseason after an encouraging 2025 campaign.

His impact could be felt all season long:

💙 7 passes defended (3rd on team)
🖤 1 forced fumble
💙 5 sacks (T-1st on team)
🖤 73 tackles
💙 5 tackles for loss
🖤 11 quarterback hits (led team)

Brown played in all 17 games and started every one of them, continuing to be a cornerstone of the defense and one of the team's most dependable performers.

As Carolina looks to build on its success, Brown remains one of the players the franchise can confidently count on.

NFL.com named Jalen Coker the Carolina Panthers’ most underappreciated player entering the 2026 season.

Coker might not get the same attention as Tetairoa McMillan or the newer weapons in Carolina’s offense, but his value shows up in important moments. Drew Brees called him a “secret weapon” after watching him deliver key third and fourth-down conversions against the Rams.

Whether it is blocking, moving the chains, or doing the dirty work, Coker has quietly become a player Carolina can trust.

Sports Illustrated’s Conor Orr predicted the Panthers defense could finish inside the top 10 in 2026.

After allowing an NFL-record 534 points in 2024, Carolina climbed back to the middle of the league last season with Derrick Brown healthy again. Now the Panthers have added more playmakers, including Devin Lloyd and Jaelan Phillips, to a group that already features Brown, Nic Scourton, Tre’von Moehrig, Jaycee Horn, and Mike Jackson.

If the pass rush takes another step under Ejiro Evero, Carolina’s defense could become one of the biggest surprises in the NFL.

One Panthers rookie is already turning heads at OTA…and it's not a flashy skill-position player.

It's 2nd-round defensive tackle Lee Hunter, drafted 49th overall pick in 2nd round out of Texas Tech.

Panthers RB Trevor Etienne was asked who has stood out early during OTAs and immediately pointed to the former Texas Tech star.

💬 "I like Lee Hunter. I like the way he approaches the game."

💬 "I like his mindset."

💬 "I like the way he's wired. I like the way his motor works."

💬 "Guys like that you don't really see around a lot."

That's some serious praise from a teammate who's battling him every day in practice.

And honestly, the production backs it up.

In his lone season at Texas Tech:
🔹 41 Tackles
🔹 10.5 TFL
🔹 2.5 Sacks
🔹 First-Team All-American
🔹 First-Team All-Big 12

The Panthers drafted Hunter to help fix a defense that finished just 20th against the run last season.

His job is simple:
🔹 Eat blocks
🔹 Control the line of scrimmage
🔹 Create chaos inside
🔹 Make life easier for everyone around him

But what seems to be standing out most right now isn't the physical talent.

It's the mentality.

Etienne specifically kept coming back to Hunter's motor, work ethic, and approach.

Those are usually the traits veterans notice first.

And often the traits that determine whether a player becomes good...or becomes a cornerstone.

It's only OTAs. But Lee Hunter is already making a strong first impression in Carolina. 👀🔥
