First Brandon Aiyuk. Then Jed York. Now this?

Federal prosecutors say Daejon Labrayae Love, 35, allegedly posed as a San Francisco 49ers player or to gain women’s trust through dating apps and social media.
Authorities allege that Love and Taylor Jamie Chan, 18, convinced at least 26 women across Oregon, Washington, Idaho and California to put money into fake real estate investments.

The alleged scheme included:

- Photos of Love wearing 49ers gear
- A fake lavish lifestyle
- Fictitious banking and investment
accounts
- Three-way FaceTime calls showing fake investment gains
- Victims allegedly being encouraged to take out personal loans

According to investigators, none of the identified victims received their money or promised returns. Approximately $1.3 million was allegedly taken between February 2022 and August 2026.

The two men were arrested at Boise Airport, where investigators say Love had traveled to meet new victims. Both have been charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and wire fraud.
