On Deck Academy is proud to announce the commitment of Ty Matheson (2026 On Deck O’s/Alexander Central HS) to Pfeiffer University! Ty is such a solid and reliable player. He takes pride in his daily preparation and he loves to compete. He is a talented middle infielder, scrappy hitter, and a pleasure to coach. Ty makes his team better in so many ways and he will undoubtedly make a meaningful impact on the Falcons’ program. Congratulations to Coach Bolton and the Pfeiffer University staff on landing a special student-athlete for this recruiting class!
We would also like to congratulate Ty and his parents, Crystal and Shannon, on this wonderful achievement.
