Weekend Recap - Monday’s newspaper is out and it looks like it was a great weekend for Charlotte Metro FC soccer! Our 14U Girls Black team kicked off the N1 league games in a matchup against CSA and took home the first win of the season in Carolina Premier Soccer League . Two teams in two different tournaments brought home the hardware. Academy Boys & Girls kicked off their fall season with a playdate at CISC in Rock Hill. Three more NCYSA boys teams played games on the road and showed everyone the 💛 We are more than a club - we are a way of life and it shows on and off the field.

In 2018 — eight years ago — Coach Daniel was invited to bring a group of Metro players to Malaga for a truly unique opportunity: training and playing alongside a different soccer culture, a rare experience that stretched their game and their perspective. Most of those original players have since graduated, and some have even come full circle, returning to the club as coaches themselves. Now, that same opportunity is passed down to the next generation of Metro players, carrying forward a tradition that’s become part of what makes this club special.
