As I walk down the Humber River in North York, Toronto, Canada I am struck by the rhythmic sound of the River as it flows effortlessly downstream, and the beauty of the surrounding trees with bare trunks lining the winding recreational trail . This is the same river that was frozen with ice some days back because of the snow and now flows effortlessly, it’s rhythm bringing a sense of calm to the environment reminding me that change is a part of life.
It’s a cool beautiful weather this morning in January and I see people walking down the trails often in groups of two or more speaking different languages, Croatian, Portuguese, Polish ….sharing the same trail in a harmonious fashion. I wonder what the world would be if we could all live peacefully and share the same space with each other irrespective of our belief systems, languages, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation. How can we bridge the divide to make this a reality?
These are conversations we explore at eWirecommunications, a John Maxwell Certified Leadership Training Organization. Leadership training is about equipping people with the right skill sets and resources to bridge this divide. The Leaders of today have to be able to lead people, ideas and multi-generations.
